Common questions before getting in touch
How quickly can DataPortia be brought into use?
The installation package includes PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB. In most environments DataPortia is running less than 30 minutes after the installation is started. Selecting the measurement points and defining the report templates take their own time, but the installation itself is not a project.
Will it work with our OPC UA system?
Yes. DataPortia supports all systems that conform to the OPC UA standard, including Siemens, ABB, Valmet, Beckhoff, Schneider Electric, Honeywell and Rockwell Automation. It acts as an OPC UA client that reads from the server, so no changes are needed in the automation system.
What does the free trial include?
30 days of every feature except the HA add-on: data acquisition, dashboards, trends, automatic reports, alarms and local AI analysis. The trial requires no commitment and no payment details.
Is a cloud service or an internet connection needed?
No. DataPortia works entirely on the local network. All data, AI computation and reporting stay on your own server. An internet connection is needed only for downloading the software and its updates.
Which languages is support available in?
Finnish and English. The software's user interface is also available in Swedish and German.
